Reading, Writing, & Humanities Tutoring
Work one-on-one with Emily, a Princeton graduate, to improve key skills in reading, writing, history, and other humanities subjects.
Reading skills are known to be a predictor of success later in life. The ability to read and write well is key to many other academic tasks, as well as most careers.
I taught literature and history classes at a top-20 university, worked as a professional editor for academic publishing presses, and briefly served as a children's librarian. I have years of experience helping students learn to truly understand what they're reading and express their ideas clearly in writing. As a student at Princeton, I won every available award for my academic writing and research, and I know how to help students develop those same skills.
I can help students develop a love of reading and continue to improve their reading level.
